Had I seen it, I would have taken great exception to it if it had been written in the same tone as your note on this forum. Your opinions may well be intelligent and pertinent in your view, but it is not appropriate for you, or anyone, to ram your beliefs down others' throats and to 'instruct' them to vote for any particular party. Robert Mugabe is conducting a campaign of intimidation in Zimbabwe 'instructing' people to vote Zanu-PF. I am sure you will agree that this is wrong, and yet, albeit it to a much lesser degree, you feel you can 'instruct' people to vote for a particular party. Is this what democracy is about, Mr. Mayes?
