The France-Grande-Bretagne Association in Cannes hold French and English classes from beginners to advanced including conversation every Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm followed by tea and biscuits. English American Library, 12 rue de France, Nice. Entrance from the courtyard, next to the Gibraltar building. Open 10-11 and 3-5 Tuesday to Saturday. Closed Sundays and Mondays. 20,000 volumes of fiction, non-fiction, video & press in English. Memberships from €5/week for tourists or €25 for yearly memberships. Call Judit at 06 16 56 50 35.
