Rosie's Bar Remembered

A favourite rendezvous of rally and Grand Prix drivers and fans in Monaco was Chatham Bar on avenue d’Ostende, which closed when the premises were demolished some years ago and its motor racing memorabilia re-housed at Silverstone. For those who knew the Chatham Bar and enjoyed its unique ambience, a book of Rosie’s Memories by Rosie Bernard and Lorie Coffey (in English) goes on sale 18 January (30 Euros) with a special T-shirt to mark the occasion in the atrium of Salle du Canton, Fontvieille 18h-23h (last orders 22h30). Choir "A Choeurs Ouverts" seeks members

CHOIR “A CHOEURS OUVERTS” conductor Florence Daly, is looking for new members, especially tenors and basses. Ensemble Vocal Syrinx choir

Ensemble Vocal Syrinx – rehearsals for 2008 have started. EVS is directed by Errol Girdlestone and is a choir of international repute, performing concerts principally on the Côte d’Azur. The choir is composed of about forty members of all nationalities. Our repertoire covers all periods and styles, from Renaissance to contemporary. We are currently recruiting sopranos,altos, tenors and basses. If you are musical and have some experience of choral singing, please come along to a rehearsal. BAM Monaco, Happy Hour

Le Bistroquet 'Meeting' is every second and fourth Thursday of each month. Come along by yourself or with friends and meet some members of the Committee and other members of BAM (some old and some new).
