Hot and Cold Agreement? Print
Written by Riviera Reporter

Marilyn wants to install air-conditioning in her apartment. A neighbour - "a bit of a know-all" - says she needs the agreement of the syndic. True or false?

It depends. If the system Marilyn takes involves an exterior feature which could be accused of altering the building's appearance she needs to ask permission; if there are simply unobtrusive pipes giving on to the outside then this is not the case. She'd do well to consult our aircon advertisers - Clim Services Riviera or JDI Climate Control.
