Written by Riviera Reporter

Last time we reported how France’s Environment and Energy Agency (ADEME) is encouraging people to become balophobes, that is, refusers of junk mail in their mailboxes. We mentioned a sticker you can get to discourage unwanted maildrops.

Several readers enquired where to obtain one or more of these – currently displayed nationwide on around one million boites aux lettres. In some places you can ask for them at the mairie; otherwise log on (in French) at www.ademe.fr.
