French Driving Test

- It's becoming harder to get a driving licence in France. Last year only just over 52% of those taking the practical driving test for “Permis B” were successful; this compares with an average of 57% across the previous ten years. One reason is that in many areas – including here – the test has been lengthened from 20 to 35 minutes which gives a candidate more time to make mistakes. And here’s a useful – if unsurprising – tip: would-be drivers who are tested in rural or semi-rural areas are more likely to succeed than those who have to show off their skills in a busy town.

Anyone know where my wife can take lessons and pass the test in English? Or does she have to do it when in the UK and use that licence here?
